Dr Dorothy Riley

Dorothy has been providing comprehensive general dentistry in East Kent since 2009, offering a wide range of treatments including orthodontics and periodontics. She is passionate about delivering holistic care that addresses the needs of the whole person—not just their teeth.

In 2006, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction in Dental Clinical Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She then spent two years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at hospitals in North Bristol and East Kent. Dorothy successfully passed the Statutory Examination in 2008.

In 2016, she completed a Master’s degree with honours in Advanced General Dental Practice at King’s College London. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Committed to lifelong learning, Dorothy is currently undertaking a Diploma in Fixed Orthodontics.

She has a special interest in:

• Orthodontics – straightening crooked teeth
• Periodontics – managing gum disease
• Caring for anxious or long-absent patients – helping them regain confidence in dental care

Dorothy is a member of both the British Dental Association and the British Orthodontic Society.
