Meet the Team

Dorothy has been providing comprehensive general dentistry in East Kent since 2009, offering a wide range of treatments including orthodontics and periodontics. She is passionate about delivering holistic care that addresses the needs of the whole person, not just their teeth.

In 2006, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction in Dental Clinical Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She then spent two years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at hospitals in North Bristol and East Kent. Dorothy successfully passed the Statutory Examination in 2008.

In 2016, she completed a Master’s degree with honours in Advanced General Dental Practice at King’s College London. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Committed to lifelong learning, Dorothy is currently undertaking a Diploma in Fixed Orthodontics.

She has a special interest in:

• Orthodontics: straightening crooked teeth
• Periodontics: managing gum disease
• Caring for anxious or long-absent patients: helping them regain confidence in dental care

Dorothy is a member of both the British Dental Association and the British Orthodontic Society.

She warmly welcomes all patients with compassion and a smile.

Theo graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University in Greece in 2011 and has since practised general dentistry in both Greece and the UK. He has a special interest in aesthetic restorations, tooth surface loss, and complex prosthetic cases.

Theo completed a postgraduate Diploma in Operative Dentistry at King’s College London, enhancing his ability to manage advanced restorative treatments. He currently works in private practice in Kent and as a Specialty Dentist at King’s College Hospital, supervising dental trainees in complex restorative care.

Committed to continuous learning, Theo integrates the latest research into his clinical practice. He is known for his calm, patient-focused approach and dedication to high-quality care

Georgina qualified with Honours from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and has been caring for patients across Kent ever since. Following the completion of her vocational training and an associateship in general practice in Ashford, she joined a private practice in Canterbury in 2014. Over the next 12 years, she built long-standing relationships with her patients through her gentle, compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to providing the highest standard of care. She now brings these qualities and her extensive clinical experience to the team at Dover Priory Dental.

Georgina has a particular interest in preventative dentistry and believes that helping patients maintain healthy smiles is just as important as creating beautiful ones. She is passionate about providing personalised care, taking the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly and ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

Known for her calm and reassuring manner, Georgina especially enjoys caring for nervous patients, helping them feel relaxed and at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Alongside general dentistry, Georgina has completed advanced training in facial aesthetics with Wigmore Medical in London and continues to develop her skills in aesthetic and cosmetic treatments. She enjoys combining the latest techniques with a natural, patient-focused approach to help patients look and feel their best.

Outside of work, Georgina enjoys keeping active, spending time with her two children and making the most of family life.

Dr Priya Rasalam is an experienced and highly regarded general and cosmetic dentist with over 23 years of experience, the vast majority of it right here in East Kent, including Dover, Hythe, Ashford and the surrounding area. Having cared for local patients and families for more than two decades, she brings a deep familiarity with the community she serves.

Priya qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and went on to gain Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, followed by postgraduate training in Restorative Dental Practice at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Her clinical approach is grounded in minimally invasive, aesthetic-focused dentistry, with an emphasis on long-term oral health and function.

She offers the full range of general and family dentistry alongside cosmetic and restorative treatments, including smile enhancement, orthodontics with Invisalign and Angel Aligners, tooth whitening, and facial aesthetics. Above all, Priya places great importance on communication and trust, and is known for her calm, gentle manner and for putting nervous patients and children at ease.

Outside of dentistry, Priya is a mum to two boys and enjoys an active, busy life. She likes a challenge, and has pushed herself out of her comfort zone over the years through everything from white-water rafting to skydiving and caving.
